About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled developer with a strong understanding of Shopify and its theme development tools.

You will work closely with designers and project managers to translate design concepts into functional and visually appealing Shopify storefronts.

Responsibilities :

- Implement and customize pre-built Shopify themes according to client specifications and design mockups.

- Develop custom Shopify themes from scratch using Liquid templates and Shopify's development tools.

- Integrate third-party apps and functionalities to extend the functionality of Shopify stores.

- Develop custom functionalities and features using Shopify APIs and web development best practices.

- Ensure responsive design and cross-browser compatibility across different devices.

- Conduct thorough testing to ensure theme functionality and identify potential bugs.

- Collaborate with designers, project managers, and clients to deliver projects on time and within budget.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Shopify development and best practices.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

- 5+ years of experience developing and customizing Shopify themes.

- Strong understanding of Shopify Liquid templating language and its functionalities.

- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (including frameworks like jQuery).

- Experience with Shopify APIs and development tools (Online Store 2.0 experience a plus).

- Experience with e-commerce best practices and user experience (UX) design principles is a plus.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality code.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively
