Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, test, and deploy custom Shopify apps using Node.js.

  • Troubleshoot and debug issues in existing Shopify apps to ensure smooth operation.
  • Optimize app performance and scalability to handle high traffic volumes.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Shopify app development trends and technologies.
  • Document code and create technical specifications to support app development and deployment.


Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in Shopify app development.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in Node.js for backend development.
  • Experience with Shopify API, Liquid templating, and app integrations.
  • Familiarity with RESTful services and GraphQL.
  • Understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a remote environment.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git.
  • Knowledge of serverless architecture and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, etc.).
  • Understanding of e-commerce principles and online store operations.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies.
