Job Summary The Technical Service Manager will provide comprehensive technical support across Coating, Packaging, Carpet, and Adhesive segments within the Polymer business. The hired incumbent will drive customer solutions, support sales, and guide product development by bridging market needs with internal functions, including R&D, production, and regulatory affairs.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver technical services and formulation support for targeted segmentsDevelop and adapt formulations for local market requirementsConduct technical training for customers, distributors, and internal teamsPerform competitive analysis and recommend strategiesEnsure compliance with statutory and internal standardsManage lab operations efficiently and uphold EHS and ISO requirementsSupport customer complaint resolution and application troubleshootingMaintain lab equipment, calibrate instruments, and document resultsParticipate in field trials and on-site customer visits as neededContribute to technical papers, exhibitions, and industry seminarsJob RequirementsMSc or Bachelor of Engineering or Master's of Engineering in Chemistry preferred At least 8 years of formulation experience in Polymer dispersions/coatings with at least 2 years in a supervisory/people leadership roleSound understanding of polymer science and standard test methodsStrong customer focus with the ability to provide prompt, practical solutionsDeep knowledge of core markets, competitors, and emulsion polymer technology
