Winter Archive Intern

Position: Winter Archive Intern

Duration: 3 Months (Extendable based on performance)

Location: Pune (On-site)

Stipend: As per organisation norms

Certification: Provided on successful completion of the internship


About the Internship

Ideal for students and fresh graduates passionate about archives, museums, heritage and sports history. Interns will support archival and documentation tasks while gaining real-time professional experience.


Key Responsibilities

· Assist in systematic documentation of the collection.

· Support cataloguing, data entry and organising physical/digital records.

· Work on archival files, inventory sheets and object histories.

· Assist in arranging and labelling archival material.

· Coordinate with conservation and curatorial teams.

· Follow ethical handling and confidentiality protocols.


Preferred Qualifications

· Students / graduates in Museology / Archival Studies / History / Library Science / Cultural Studies or related fields.

· Prior documentation experience preferred but not mandatory.

Skills & Attributes

· Strong organisational and detail-oriented approach.

· Basic digital skills (Excel / Google Sheets).

· Willingness to learn and follow structured workflows.

· Careful handling of museum objects.

· Proactive team spirit.
