Position Overview

The Assistant Manager – MIS will lead advanced MIS reporting, data management, and analytics to generate actionable insights that support organizational planning and decision-making. The role requires strong analytical capability, hands-on expertise in data tools, and the ability to work closely with program and functional teams to strengthen data quality, reporting systems, and governance.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain MIS dashboards and automated reports using Excel, Power BI, and SQL.
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timely delivery of all MIS reports across programs and functions.
  • Analyse complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform strategic and operational decisions.
  • Generate predictive and diagnostic insights to support business planning and performance improvement.
  • Coordinate with program and functional teams to collect data and enhance reporting structures aligned with organizational goals.
  • Strengthen data governance practices, including data validation, cleaning, reconciliation, and compliance with SOPs.
  • Support continuous improvement of MIS systems, tools, and reporting workflows.


Technical & Functional Skills

  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (Pivot Tables, advanced formulas, Power Query, dashboards).
  • Strong experience with Power BI or equivalent data visualization tools.
  • Working knowledge of SQL Server and database querying.
  • Familiarity with ETL processes, Power Query, and data integration workflows.
  • Proficiency in Google Sheets and Google Forms.
  • Strong command of English (reading, writing, speaking) and working knowledge of Hindi (speaking).


Qualifications & Experience

  • Postgraduate degree in IT, Computer Science, Statistics, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • Technical certifications in MS Office, SQL, Power BI, or related tools are preferred.
  • 3–5 years of experience in MIS, data analysis, reporting, or analytics roles, preferably in a lead or managerial capacity.

  • Exposure to predictive analytics and statistical tools is an advantage.

  • Strong communication and coordination skills for cross-functional collaboration.
