Job Description :


Roles and responsibilities :


Policy Development :


- Develop and implement data governance policies and procedures to ensure the quality, integrity, and security of organizational data.


Data Standards and Definitions :


- Establish and enforce data standards, definitions, and naming conventions to promote consistency and accuracy across the organization.


Data Classification :


- Classify data based on sensitivity, importance, and regulatory requirements, ensuring appropriate access controls and protection measures.


Metadata Management :


- Implement metadata management practices to capture and maintain information about data attributes, lineage, and relationships.


Data Quality Management :


- Define and monitor data quality standards, conduct data profiling, and establish processes for data cleansing and enrichment.


Data Stewardship :


- Assign and train data stewards responsible for the management, maintenance, and quality of specific sets of data.


Data Governance Framework :


- Implement and maintain a comprehensive data governance framework, including policies, processes, roles, and responsibilities.


Data Privacy and Compliance :


- Ensure compliance with data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and establish measures for data privacy and security.


- 10+ years of project and data management


- Data governance including data stewardship, data data modelling, data controls, and data policies.


- Hands on implementation experience in Data Governance, Metadata Mgmt, Data Quality, Data Modelling, MDM and Reporting Must Have Certified on Collibra


- Experience in Data Strategy, Data Architecture, Data Modelling Experience in DM tool ERWIN


- Experience with data catalog and data governance tools like Collibra


- Experience in DQ tools like Collibra DQ Launch new data governance framework and operating model, with a focus on measurement of and improving data quality through creation/modifications to policies, governance metrics, processes, governance tools, etc.


- Cloud expertise - preferably on AWS
