Role Overview

We are seeking an Sr MLOps Engineer to support the design and deployment of scalable data pipelines and a flexible query system for large volumes of multimedia and sensor data. In this role, you will work with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity, streamline annotation processes, and enable efficient data retrieval and analysis.

Key Responsibilities

Data Management & Storage

  • Develop strategies to store and organize extensive datasets in a secure, scalable environment.
  • Implement basic version control processes for data, balancing performance with maintainability.
  • Establish workflows for data labeling and annotation, ensuring seamless incorporation of new information.

System Architecture & Query Capabilities

  • Contribute to the design of systems that can process various data types for streamlined search and retrieval.
  • Explore methods to extract relevant features or metadata that improve data discovery and organization.
  • Build interfaces or APIs to support dynamic queries and insights, enhancing accessibility for stakeholders.

Pipeline Automation & Deployment

  • Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to automate data preparation, model training, and deployment.
  • Implement continuous integration and delivery practices to ensure reliable and repeatable processes.
  • Maintain monitoring and alerting solutions to track system performance and data quality.

Documentation & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Produce clear documentation of pipeline designs, workflows, and best practices for future scalability.
  • Partner with various teams to understand data requirements, operational constraints, and business goals.
  • Communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders, translating complex ideas into actionable insights.

Qualifications

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Engineering, etc.).
  • Previous experience in a data-focused or MLOps-related role.

Technical Skills:

  • Familiarity with cloud-based platforms and containerization techniques.
  • Understanding of data versioning principles and basic annotation tools.
  • Knowledge of scalable data processing and search solutions.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong communication and documentation abilities.
  • Problem-solving mindset with adaptability in fast-paced environments.
  • Collaborative approach to working with multidisciplinary teams.
