As a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer you will be responsible for creating and structuring the automated tests of our products. You should be comfortable to take care of all the details involved in automation, from the test environments to the implementation of scenarios. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with leading-edge technology, collaborate with a diverse team, working with key accounts and be part of a company that is transforming the market research industry.Location and Shift Timing: This position is based out of our Jaipur or Hyderabad Office, India, requiring in-office presence of 3 days a week. The role requires flexibility to work across global time zones to effectively collaborate with our international team members.Your Responsibilities:Design, develop, and execute test cases, test scripts, and test scenarios to thoroughly test software applications and features.Conduct functional, regression, performance, and usability testing to identify and report defects and ensure product reliability.Collaborate with software developers, product managers, and designers to understand product requirements and user stories.Participate in test planning and contribute to defining testing strategies for various software projects.Document and maintain detailed test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.Perform thorough defect tracking, investigation, and verification of reported issues to ensure timely resolution.Identify areas for test automation and develop automated test scripts to increase testing efficiency.Mentor and support junior SQA engineers, providing guidance and sharing best practices.Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing processes and methodologies.Stay updated on the latest testing tools, technologies, and industry best practices.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or similar discipline from any recognized University.Minimum 5+ years of proven experience as a Software Quality Assurance Engineer, focused on testing web and mobile applications, and having been the primary QA owner for a test automation project or QA initiative from start to finish.Strong expertise in automation frameworks for API and UI testing, with mandatory hands-on experience in Cypress of at least 1+years. Additional experience with tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, and Postman is highly preferred.Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, processes and best practices - including Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD) using Gherkin syntax.Experience in creating automated test pipelines in a CI/CD environment.Experience working directly with databases, particularly MongoDB, to perform data testing, integrity validation, and write queries.Familiarity with defect tracking systems and test management tools.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.Previous experience in Agile or Scrum development environments and functional in JIRA is advantageousPureSpectrum Benefits:We offer a modern company culture with flexibility, individuality, creativity, and open communication at all levels of the business.
