Title: Cloud Engineer

Experience: 4-8 years

Location: Bangalore

Summary:

• 7-Eleven is seeking a Sr Cloud Engineer who is comfortable working in a challenging and diverse environment to take ownership of our MS Azure infrastructure. You will also provide escalation level support to internal team members and external clients via phone, email, chat or in person.
• Candidates should be highly motivated, self-motivated and have excellent analytical, organizational and communication skills. They must be a strong team player able to lead, train and collaborate with others. A CCIE or similar certification is preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure all aspects of the entire enterprise Azure environment is architecturally sound and highly available
• Research existing and emerging technologies that align with business requirements and provide effective solutions based upon extensive professional experience, industry best practices, knowledge of industry technologies through formal training and/or self-study.
• Participate in a 24x7 shift rotation as required by the team.
• Evaluate the current Azure architecture and develop action plans to make necessary improvements.
• Develop and maintain accurate support documentation in a knowledge repository
• Perform environment performance monitoring, trending, and capacity planning for the Azure infrastructure
• Analyze, diagnose, and resolve customer issues within the 7-Eleven core infrastructure environment
• Provide Tier 3 and Tier 4 technical support for 7-Eleven’s Azure infrastructure
• Collaborate with 3rd party vendors to ensure the Azure environment stays operational
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS / Azure core services (Compute, Storage, Networking, Security, Databases).
• Proficiency in IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM/Bicep).
• Experience in automation and scripting using PowerShell, Azure CLI, or Python.
• Experience with Azure DevOps for building and managing CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes Service for containerized workloads.
• Strong understanding of cloud networking and hybrid connectivity (VPC, VNet, VPN, Transit Gateway, ExpressRoute).
• Familiarity with Cost Optimization, cloud-native security and governance.
• Basic exposure to GCP and OCI cloud platforms (Good to have).
• Hands on experience in monitoring tools.
• Good Knowledge in Azure NetApp Files (ANF)
• Must be able to perform Azure ARC activities

Education and Experience:

• University degree in Information Technology or related field preferred
• 4-8 years of working experience in large enterprise (Fortune 1000) infrastructure teams – (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI, Networking) is preferred
• Any Global Certifications on AWS / Azure are highly recommended.
