Cloud Engineer II
We have an opportunity for a Cloud Engineer II to join our IT Cloud Applications team in Bangalore, reporting to the senior manager of IT Cloud Technologies. In this pivotal role, you will lead the development and deployment of automation-driven, AI-enabled solutions while applying DevOps practices to improve scalability, reliability, and operational efficiency across the organization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, build, and deploy cloud-native applications using Python, and establish robust CI/CD pipelines to support continuous integration and delivery. You will also manage and optimize infrastructure using infrastructure-as-code (IaC) and containerization technologies, contributing to a culture of automation and innovation.
Be a Contributor — What You'll Do
- Design and develop REST and GraphQL APIs following industry best practices
- Optimize application performance for speed, scalability, and responsiveness
- Implement automated testing strategies to ensure reliability and maintainability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code aligned with coding standards
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and knowledge sharing
- Resolve bugs and troubleshoot production issues with attention to root cause
- Contribute to system architecture design, scalability discussions, and security reviews
- Drive integration of AI and automation capabilities into development and deployment workflows
- Manage CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub, Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform to streamline integration, testing, and deployment across environments
Be Prepared — What You Bring
- 4 - 6 years of experience in software development with a focus on backend systems, DevOps, and cloud-native applications using Python
- Experience with AI services, including OpenAI and AWS AI offerings
- Expertise in DevOps tools and practices, including Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub, and Terraform
- Solid understanding of the finance domain and related business processes
- Expertise in AWS services, including API Gateway, Lambda, S3, ECS, and RDS
- Familiarity with Azure services, such as Functions, Storage, and Key Vault
- Experience with database technologies, including both SQL and NoSQL systems
- Experience in Bash scripting and Linux command-line tools
- Knowledge of authentication and authorization frameworks, including OAuth and JWT
- Hands-on experience with SOLID principles and design patterns
- Experience with monitoring tools, such as NewRelic, Splunk, or Grafana
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field

Collaborate with the team to optimize application performance, ensuring fast load times and smooth user interactions across various devices and browsers.
One Year:
Mentor junior developers and drive the adoption of AI and automation best practices, sharing expertise to enhance the team's technical capabilities and foster a culture of innovation, learning, and continuous improvement.
