Job Description: Business AnalystRole Overview:ER is seeking a highly motivated and entrepreneurial Business Analyst to join our team and play a pivotal role in delivering products and services to our valued customers. As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for owning and managing the documentation aspects of projects, collaborating closely with Project Managers, Product Managers, technical teams, sales teams, and customers. Your role will be crucial in ensuring the successful execution and delivery of projects while adhering to ER's Project and Quality management policies.Responsibilities:Project Management:Gather and document customer requirements, ensuring a clear understanding of expectations.Prepare comprehensive project plans including milestones, budgets, resource allocation, and UAT plans.Create and maintain detailed project documentation throughout the project lifecycle.Agile Environment:Collaborate within an agile framework, adapting to changes and contributing to continuous improvement.Participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.Cross-Functional Collaboration:Work closely with Project Managers, Product Managers, technical teams, and other stakeholders to deliver successful projects.Provide valuable insights and feedback to enhance project processes and outcomes.Communication Liaison:Facilitate effective communication between technical teams and sales teams during pre-sales activities.Act as a bridge between customer teams and delivery teams, ensuring smooth communication during project execution.Quality Compliance:Ensure that all projects adhere to ER's Project and Quality management policies and processes.Perform regular quality checks and ensure project documentation is accurate and up to date.Pre-sales Support:Assist in pre-sales activities by providing documentation support and addressing customer queries.Ensure alignment between customer expectations and project capabilities.Independent Contributor:Demonstrate self-motivation and the ability to work independently while contributing effectively to cross-functional teams.Qualifications and Experience:Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.Proven experience as a Business Analyst in delivering complex IT and OT projects.Strong knowledge of agile methodologies and experience working in agile environments.Excellent documentation skills with the ability to create detailed project plans, requirements documents, and UAT plans.Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.Startup Founder / Operator Experience preferred.Ability to multitask, manage priorities, and adapt to changes in a dynamic environment.Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering customer-centric solutions.Proficiency in project management tools, collaboration platforms like Jira, Miro, CRM, and MS Office suite.Self-driven and proactive mindset, capable of taking ownership and driving initiatives.Abilities in prompt engineering and usage of Generative AI tools for productivity enhancement is a plusKey Result Areas (KRA) & Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Project DocumentationPercentage of projects with accurate and comprehensive project plans, milestones, budgets, and UAT plans.Communication EffectivenessAverage response time to queries from technical teams, sales teams, and customers during project execution.Quality CompliancePercentage of projects compliant with ER's Project and Quality management policies and processes.Project OutcomePercentage of projects delivered within the specified scope, budget, and timeline.Stakeholder ManagementQuality of relationship established with technical teams, sales teams, and customers.Agile CollaborationAdherence to agile ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, backlog grooming, retrospectives).Contribution to continuous improvement initiatives within the agile framework.Pre-sales SupportTimeliness and accuracy of documentation provided for pre-sales activities.Alignment between customer expectations set during pre-sales and actual project capabilities.Why Join ER:Joining ER means being part of a dynamic and innovative team that is driving digital transformation across industries.
