Position Title: Director – Production & Operations

Work Location: Noida, India


Key Responsibilities

  1. Manage local product registration processes, production planning management, production cost control, and scenario management. Liaise with regulatory authorities to ensure timely approvals.
  2. Lead the establishment and implementation of site-level quality systems, ensuring compliance with ISO standards (e.g., ISO 13485 / MDR 2017) and relevant regulations.
  3. Collaborate closely with global teams on production transfer, technology localization, and process optimization.
  4. Act as point of first reference for all production-related enquiries and collaborate with colleagues in engineering, R&D, operations, logistics, EHS, Quality, and technology in plants.
  5. Track and improve project targets (e.g., material utilization rate, per capita efficiency). Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality, and reliability.
  6. Drive local sourcing, vendor development, and component localization to support manufacturing efficiency and cost optimization.
  7. Build and lead a high-performance cross-functional team (manufacturing, quality, PMC, registration), promoting accountability, collaboration, and solution-oriented execution.


Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s degree or above in Mechanical, Automation, Industrial Engineering, or related majors.
  2. Solid understanding of production management practices such as lean manufacturing, quality systems, vendor management, and EHS.
  3. Strong background in precision assembly or system-level manufacturing; familiarity with complex electro-mechanical products is highly valued.
  4. Experience coordinating multi-disciplinary teams (engineering, production, quality, supply chain) to ensure product delivery.
  5. Strong coordination abilities, emergency handling capabilities, and hands-on experience in on-site quality control and production cost management.
  6. Ability to work efficiently in a team and interact with colleagues across different cultures.
  7. Excellent verbal and written communication in English; proficiency in Hindi or other regional languages is a plus.
  8. Experience in regulatory submissions and product registration in India.
  9. Preferably with background in the medical device or high-technology manufacturing industry.
