Summary of the Role

We are a leading roll foundry supplying work rolls to major Hot Strip Mills, TMT Mills, and global steel plants. We are looking for a Business Analyst who can transform raw operational and sales data into clear insights, dashboards, and strategic decisions. This role directly supports top management and plays a critical part in making the company fully data-driven. Success in this role means enabling us to increase profit, improve efficiency, reduce waste, and make smarter business decisions based on data.

You will not just create reports—you will influence key decisions and help shape the future growth of the company.

ResponsibilitiesWhat You Will Do (High-Impact Role)
  • Analyze sales, margins, product and customer performance
  • Build clear, visual dashboards (Google Sheets / Excel / Power BI / Tableau)
  • Track production efficiency, lead times, rejections, scrap, and bottlenecks
  • Identify high-profit vs low-profit customers and products
  • Forecast demand and support capacity planning
  • Monitor cash flow, payment delays, receivables, inventory movement
  • Provide strategic recommendations to management for growth and cost control
  • Present insights in a clear, decision-focused format (not just data dumps)

  • Work closely with leadership to understand business goals
  • Streamline data collection and reporting processes
  • Improve visibility across sales, operations, production, and finance
  • Help build a culture of data-driven decision-making
  • Challenge existing processes and suggest smarter, more efficient approaches
QualificationsYou Are a Great Fit If You:
  • Think commercially and understand business logic, not just data
  • Have experience in manufacturing / B2B / supply chain / operations (preferred)
  • Are strong in analysis, critical thinking, and problem-solving
  • Can turn raw data into clear insights and strategic recommendations
  • Communicate confidently with leadership and stakeholders
  • Are proactive, curious, and eager to build systems from scratch
Skills
  • Advanced Google Sheets / Excel (Pivot Tables, Formulas, Slicers, Automation)
  • Power BI / Tableau / Looker Studio (bonus but preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of business metrics (profit, margin, cash flow, efficiency)
  • Ability to design dashboards and reports that drive decisions
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
Experience
  • 2+ years in Business Analysis / Data Analytics / Operations Analytics
  • Experience in manufacturing or industrial B2B environment is a major plus
  • Experience presenting insights to senior management
Education (Flexible)
  • Degree in Business, Engineering, Analytics, Operations, Economics, MBA, or similar
  • Certifications in Data Analytics / Power BI / Business Analysis are a bonus
