Job Overview :

We are looking for a talented Ruby on Rails Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Ruby on Rails development and a passion for building scalable web applications. As a Ruby on Rails Developer, you will work closely with our engineering team to design, develop, and maintain innovative software solutions for our clients.

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Ruby on Rails framework.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features.

- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices.

- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.

- Identify and troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions in a timely manner.

- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.

- Stay updated on the latest Ruby on Rails trends and technologies.

Requirements :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

- Proven experience as a Ruby on Rails Developer or in a similar role.

- Strong understanding of Ruby language and Ruby on Rails framework.

- Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.

- Knowledge of relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and SQL queries.

- Familiarity with Git version control system.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Good communication and teamwork abilities.

- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with test-driven development (TDD) and writing unit tests using RSpec or similar frameworks.

- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

- Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services.

- Understanding of containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

- Contributions to open-source projects or personal projects on GitHub.
