Platform / Product: Windows/IBM WebSphere App Server Linux / Jboss EAP, Jboss HTTPD

Server / Database: Windows/SQL Server Linux/Oracle

Language: Java, Windows Batch/PowerShell Java, Linux Shell Scripting

OS: Windows RHEL (Red Hat Enterprise Manage the release lifecycle from planning and scheduling to deployment and post-release support, ensuring timely and high-quality software releases.

- Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to define release requirements, establish release schedules, and coordinate release activities.

- Implement and maintain release pipelines using DevOps tools such as Bitbucket, Jenkins, Artifactory, and SonarQube, automating build, test, and deployment processes.

- Implement security best practices and integrate security testing tools (e.g. , SonarQube) into the release pipeline to ensure code quality and compliance with security standards.

- Manage configuration and version control systems, ensuring proper branching, merging, and tagging of code repositories (e.g., Git).

- Conduct release readiness reviews, perform risk assessments, and coordinate change management processes to minimize disruptions during releases.

- Monitor release performance and track key metrics (e.g., deployment success rate, lead time, cycle time) to identify areas for improvement and optimize release processes.

- Coordinate with infrastructure and database teams to ensure compatibility and readiness of target environments, including JBoss EAP, IBM WebSphere, Oracle DB, and Microsoft SQL Server DB.

Must Have:

- Release managers with java app deployment experience.

- Good interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.

- Solid experience in deploying application in both Windows and Linux platforms.

- Experience with networking concepts to support application infrastructure setup and communications with upstream and downstream systems.

- Experience with security concepts to support setting up a secure application environment.

- Experience with a variety of source control and development tools.

- Experience with Java Development, Technologies, and Frameworks. (e.g.Spring Framework, Microservices architectures, etc.)

- Excellent analytical skills (critical thinking, problem solving, and decision-making skills) with history of driving application/component setup in Windows and Linux platforms.

- A passion for learning and the willingness to solve to have:

- Experience in DevOpsSec tools such as Bitbucket, Jenkins, Artifactory, SonarQube, Artifactory

- Experience in Jboss EAP and IBM WebSphere application servers.

- Experience in Oracle DB and Microsoft SQL Server DB
