Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, manage, and support enterprise-level network infrastructure. The ideal candidate should possess deep expertise in routing, switching, firewalls, VPN, and SD-WAN technologies, and be capable of leading network modernization, security, and performance initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deploy LAN/WAN, wireless, and data center network architectures that are scalable, secure, and highly available.
  • Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, Palo Alto, or equivalent network devices.
  • Manage firewalls, load balancers, proxies, VPNs, and remote access solutions.
  • Lead network transformation or upgrade projects, including SD-WAN implementations and cloud integrations.
  • Monitor and optimize network performance, availability, and reliability using tools like SolarWinds, PRTG, NetFlow, Wireshark, etc.
  • Work closely with Security, Cloud, and Application teams to ensure secure and optimized network communications.
  • Maintain network documentation, topology diagrams, runbooks, and standard operating procedures.
  • Implement network segmentation, NAC (Network Access Control), and security policies in alignment with compliance requirements.
  • Mentor junior engineers and serve as a technical escalation point.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 6+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise network engineering.
  • Strong expertise in Cisco routing and switching (CCNP or equivalent).
  • Experience configuring and managing firewalls (Cisco ASA/Firepower, Fortinet, Palo Alto).
  • Proficiency in VPN technologies, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VLANs, QoS.
  • Experience with Wi-Fi planning and wireless LAN controllers (Cisco, Aruba, Ruckus).
  • Hands-on experience with network monitoring, diagnostics, and packet analysis tools.
  • Experience working in cloud-connected networks (AWS, Azure, or hybrid environments).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CCNP, CCIE, JNCIP, PCNSE, or equivalent certifications.
  • Experience with SD-WAN solutions (Cisco Viptela, Meraki, Fortinet SD-WAN, Versa).
  • Familiarity with Zero Trust Networking and NDR/XDR integration.
