Site Engineer - Civil

Location: Karnataka

Contract: Fixed Term Contract - GI Roll (Third Party Payroll)

Key Responsibilities (Mention responsibilities applicable to the position. Add rows if needed)

  • Responsible for day-to-day supervision of civil construction works for all components of the scheme, covering jackwell, WTP, transmission mains, GLSRs, OHTs etc.
  • Witness the site tests for various civil works including concrete, sieve analysis and any others tests
  • Review and approve the test reports for tests undertaken in third party labs
  • Issue corrective action reports, non-conformance reports as per quality procedures
  • Review and close all open CAR & NCR
  • Prepare daily, monthly quality reports
  • Attend weekly, monthly project review meetings and present the quality updates including details on open and repeating issues
  • Provide any site related support/training to construction agency personnel

Technical / business-unit specific skills and knowledge

  • Should have background of having worked in water supplies and related infrastructure projects
  • Should have understanding of appropriate codes and standards
  • Should be familiar with preparing quality reports and procedure for issuing CARs and NCRs

Education

Electrical Engineer (B. Tech / B.E) with a minimum of 10 years of experience
