At Zype, we are making lot of data-driven decisions at various stages of customer journey from sales to underwriting to even collections. Many of these decisions are real time like risk- scoring, fraud detections etc at the time of credit underwriting. Our data is mainly produced at the backend during customer journey, which is being used by analytics, business intelligence, product & management etc for different analysis & reporting purposes. We are looking for a talented Senior Data Engineer to join our dynamic team and help build our data :

- Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines to support the extraction, transformation, and loading of data from various sources. Ensure data availability and quality for all the data consumers.

- Make sure data is processed and stored efficiently, work with backend team to offload data from backend storage. At the same time, work closely with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements and implement solutions that meet business needs.

- Work with data scientists to build real-time machine learning feature computation pipelines.

- Optimize and tune existing data pipelines for performance and reliability.

- Implement best practices for data security and privacy.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data models that support business intelligence and analytics.

- Stay current with emerging technologies and trends in data engineering and recommend new tools and frameworks to improve data infrastructure.

Requirements :

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field

- 5+ years of experience in data engineering roles, with a strong background in designing and implementing data pipelines.

- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.

- Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka.

- Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).

- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
