Job Description:

As a Senior Azure DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing our cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of our development and

production environments. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support and enhance our application lifecycle management processes.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Infrastructure Management: Design, implement, and manage Azure cloud infrastructure, including virtual machines, networking, storage, and security configurations.
  • CI/CD Pipelines: Develop, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps to automate the build, test,and deployment processes.
  • Automation: Implement automation strategies for infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and application deployment using tools like Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, Bicep, Terraform, or Ansible. Bicep is plus point.
  • Monitoring s Performance: Set up and manage monitoring and logging solutions to ensure system health and performance. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to infrastructure and deployment.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure smooth integration and deployment processes. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to juniorteam members.
  • Security s Compliance: Ensure thatinfrastructure and applications comply with securitybest practices and regulatory requirements. Implement and manage identity and access management (IAM) policies.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for infrastructure configurations, deployment processes, and operational procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 7-12
  • Extensive experience with Azure cloud services, including Azure Virtual

Machines, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Functions, and Azure SQL Database.

  • Proficiency in building and managing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, including Pipelines, Repos, Artifacts, and Test Plans.
  • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Bicep, Terraform or ARM templates.
  • Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
  • Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.


  • Knowledge of version control systems, preferably Git.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently with minimal supervision.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

Certifications:

  • Azure certifications (e.g., Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, Azure Solutions Architect) are highly desirable.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with other cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps best practices.
