Position: Interior DesignerDepartment: Design/CreativeJob Summary: We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer to join our design team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating functional and aesthetically pleasing spaces, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to translate client needs into design solutions. As an Interior Designer, you will be responsible for designing and executing interior spaces for commercial, and/or hospitality projects.Key Responsibilities:Client Consultation: Meet with clients to discuss their requirements, preferences, budget, and timeline. Interpret and translate client needs into rough plans.Design Development: Create design concepts, mood boards, and layout plans. Develop detailed designs, including floor plans, 3D renderings, and material specifications.Material Selection: Source and select materials, furniture, lighting, and accessories that align with the design concept and client preferences. Ensure selections are within budget constraints.Project Management: Oversee project timelines, coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and vendors, and ensure that all aspects of the design are executed according to plan.Budget Management: Prepare cost estimates, track expenses, and ensure projects are completed within the agreed-upon budget.Technical Drawings: Produce detailed technical drawings and specifications for construction and installation.Site Visits: Conduct site visits to ensure the project is progressing according to design plans and address any issues that arise during the construction or installation phase.Collaboration: Work closely with architects, engineers, and other designers to ensure cohesive and well-integrated designs. Participate in team meetings and contribute to the overall design strategy.Industry Trends: Stay updated on the latest trends, materials, and innovations in interior design. Incorporate new ideas and techniques into your designs.Compliance: Ensure all designs comply with local building codes, safety regulations, and sustainability standards.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.Proven experience as an Interior Designer with a strong portfolio of completed projects.Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and 3D rendering tools.Strong understanding of color theory, furniture design, and spatial arrangements.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong project management and organizational skills.Knowledge of building codes, safety standards, and sustainability practices.Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.Preferred Qualifications:0-2years experience in specific sectors such as commercial, and/or hospitality designFamiliarity with green building practices and LEED certification.
