About the Role:

We are hiring for a fast-growing fintech + Web3 startup that's revolutionizing the payments space with decentralized and AI-driven technology. As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for the end-to-end quality assurance of our blockchain-integrated applications and services across Web, Mobile, and API layers.

You must come with hands-on experience testing in Web3/DeFi ecosystems—including wallets, smart contracts, staking, token transactions, or dApp platforms. The role involves manual and automation testing, performance analysis, and deep collaboration with developers, DevOps, and product teams. Familiarity with AI-driven tools for test automation and bug detection is a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Web3 Product Testing: End-to-end testing of Web3 features such as smart contracts, token transactions, crypto wallets, NFT flows, staking, and dApps.
  • Frontend & Backend Testing: Perform manual and automation testing across Web, Mobile, and backend systems to validate functionality, UI/UX, and integration.
  • API Functional & Performance Testing: Validate APIs (REST/GraphQL) with Postman, Swagger, and load testing tools. Ensure handling of edge cases and performance bottlenecks.
  • Database Testing & SQL Validation: Ensure data accuracy and reliability across blockchain interactions and off-chain databases like MySQL/PostgreSQL.
  • Security & Vulnerability Testing: Validate input handling, token security, wallet transactions, and compliance with fintech and Web3 security standards.
  • AI-Powered Test Automation: Use AI tools to optimize test cases, automate routine tasks, and improve coverage.
  • Load & Stress Testing: Simulate spikes and heavy traffic in blockchain environments using tools like JMeter, Locust, etc.
  • CI/CD Integration & Agile Collaboration: Ensure test coverage is built into pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and collaborate in agile teams.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain comprehensive test plans, execution logs, bug reports, and QA process documentation.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Web3 developers, smart contract engineers, product managers, and DevOps teams to ensure high-quality releases.

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of QA experience, with at least 2+ years in Web3/DeFi companies (Mandatory).
  • Proven experience testing crypto wallets, dApps, NFT platforms, DeFi protocols, or smart contract-based apps.
  • Hands-on with manual and automated testing tools – Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar.
  • Strong in API testing using Postman, Rest Assured, Swagger, and performance tools (JMeter, Gatling, etc.).
  • Good understanding of smart contract flows, gas optimization, blockchain transactions, and Web3 security concerns.
  • Proficiency in SQL for backend validation and data integrity.
  • Familiar with test management tools like TestRail, Qase, or TestMo.
  • Working knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, etc.).
  • Strong debugging, RCA, and communication skills.
  • ISTQB certification or Ethical Hacking experience is a plus.
  • Experience with AI-based test automation is preferred.
