Job Description

Role purpose

The CP Digital Operations Lead will implement our digital strategy and drive adoption across the organisation by identifying opportunities whilst ensuring a continuous focus on customer centricity. They will be responsible for leading day to day operations and delivering on the digital strategy. Building from the AMEA digital strategy this role will be focused on ensuring country teams are well supported to operationalise and capture value. This role helps leaders to understand how digital can drive performance across multiple dimensions by function and by country, highlighting risks & opportunities and fostering best practice sharing. The Lead will also establish an operating rhythm with the business to ensure our organization is running effectively and efficiently to meet goals and objectives. Frameworks to help structure organisation thinking, drive visibility and facilitate alignment will be important and should be used along with clear KPIs and performance tracking.

Accountabilities

  • Communicates strategic direction effectively, to excite people around the vision and goals and align diverse teams to achieve success
  • Drives digital operations in region and facilitates country level engagement
  • Tracks adoption progress and monitors for opportunities and barriers
  • Lead behavioural and cultural change through a supportive, collaborative and highly inclusive environment where team members feel supported, respected and engaged
  • Create a continuous learning environment where the countries are constantly supported with up to date information
  • Good understanding and continued focus on the diverse grower and customer needs across APAC
  • Strong connection with country teams to maintain understanding of the local environment and ensure strong alignment with country leadership
  • Ensure regional Digital/ IT support and alignment for the countries' direction and priorities
  • Ensure adoption of digital tools through a value and outcomes driven implementation
  • Manage 3rd party relationships, contracts and negotiation. Ensures maximum value is realised on the ground in countries.
Qualifications

Knowledge, experience & capabilities

  • A Bachelor's degree in a related field (business, engineering, IT) or equivalent knowledge is required
  • Passion for digital transformation
  • Strong willingness to stay close to our growers and customers
  • Track record of leading digital or innovation projects
  • Experience in a multi-country and multicultural environment
  • Strong communication skills to guide and influence the organization towards a digitally driven problem solving mentality
  • Influence upwards through clear, focus and fit for purpose communication aimed at driving the digital transformation
  • High degree of flexibility to be able to adapt to an external environment that is continuously changing.
  • Think out of the box and inspire the organization to do the same in trying to find the most effective solutions for the customer and the benefit of our growers.
  • Proven record of change management
  • Experience in driving best practice sharing initiatives
  • Collaborative, inclusive and cross functional attitude
  • Fluent English speaker to ensure effective communication across the region.
  • >8 years of operations or strategy experience in a multi-national context
  • Solid business acumen with experience in agtech, agriculture or related fields are preferred
