Job Opening:

We are looking for a skilled Dart/Flutter Developer to create a cross-platform Health Tech App for iOS and Android, utilizing Google's Flutter framework for a prominent client in Australia. This role involves blending advanced computer vision with top-notch healthcare and physiotherapy standards. Responsibilities include innovating new features and maintaining existing apps. Candidates should possess extensive experience in contributing to and overseeing large-scale mobile app projects. Previous expertise in Flutter, Dart, and Firebase development is required.

This position initially requires a hybrid work model, with at least one day spent working from the office in Bangalore.

Preferred qualifications include proficiency in Computer Vision, MediaPipe, and Python, with exposure to early-stage startup environments seen as a bonus.

Furthermore, you will collaborate closely with the CTO on a daily basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing and implementing new app modules using the Flutter framework based on project needs
  • Maintaining existing codebases and creating reusable code and libraries
  • Integrating user-interface elements developed by team members and UI/UX designers
  • Integrating Firebase storage and APIs, as well as various third-party APIs
  • Debugging existing app components, addressing issues, and preventing regressions
  • Working closely with UI/UX designers, QA testers, and other developers
  • Participating in software architecture, design discussions, and code reviews
  • Optimizing applications for speed and scalability
  • Adhering to company guidelines and best practices

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
  • At least two production-quality Android and/or iOS apps developed with Flutter
  • Proven experience in software development, particularly in mobile app development
  • Published one or more mobile apps on Google Play or App Store
  • Experience with third-party libraries, APIs, and awareness of the mobile landscape and emerging technologies
  • Solid grasp of the complete mobile development lifecycle, including automated testing and building
  • Familiarity with Firebase databases, APIs, and proficient knowledge of versioning tools like Git

Desirable Skills:

  • Familiarity with MediaPipe or similar frameworks
  • In-depth understanding of AI and Computer Vision
  • Knowledge of Notion, Python, and Agile methodology
  • Strong problem-solving and communication abilities
