We are currently seeking a Static Equipment Engineer, who will report functionally and administratively to the Head of Mechanical in Chennai, India.

The selected candidate will be responsible for independently handling requisitions for various project units, specifically managing activities related to static equipment for the EPCM in the Project.

About the Job

Work Experience in Design & Knowledge of:

  • Proficiency in using Industry Design Software such as PV Elite, Compress, etc.
  • ASME Sec. VIII Div.1 for Pressure Equipment Design
  • TEMA for Shell & Tube Exchangers
  • API Codes for Air Coolers, Exchangers, Tanks
  • Local Stress Analysis for Nozzles, Supports
  • National Standards & Industry Practices for Wind and Seismic Design of Tall Columns
  • Trays and Tower Internals
  • Filters and Allied Equipment
  • Familiarity with ASME Sec. VIII Div.2 for High Pressure Equipment
  • Dealing with Revamp Equipment and Projects
  • Vendor Document Review for Static Equipment

About You:

  • Minimum 2 to 4 years' experience in static equipment design
  • Experience in a Lead Engineer role overseeing a team of Engineers and Draftspersons
  • Experience in a demanding project environment with tight deadlines
  • Dealing with Revamp Projects involving Construction Challenges
  • Ability to handle stress while collaborating with subcontractors to achieve results
  • Exposure to ISO 9001 procedures and maintaining quality deliverables for audits
