Sr.DevOps Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer with a strong focus on AWS cloud services. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, implementing, and managing AWS-based infrastructure using modern DevOps tools and practices. You will be responsible for building and maintaining scalable, secure, and highly available systems, leveraging tools such as Terraform, Jenkins, Ansible, ARM templates, Docker, and Kubernetes. Your role will involve working closely with development teams to streamline deployment pipelines, enhance system reliability, and optimize performance across multiple environments.

Key Responsibilities:

● To improve/maintain internal developer experience platforms that

empower engineers to work efficiently.

● Work across CI, Static Analysis Tooling, IDE Integration, and other

developer-related domains as necessary to ensure Animaker's

engineering teams continue to scale with the demands of the product

suite

● Maintain & Develop self-service infrastructure from the ground up to

empower our engineering teams to be more efficiently

● Communicate with other teams to figure out the best solutions to

their problems

● Propose new approaches and solutions to ensure future-proof

distributed cloud infrastructure as we scale up

● Be invariably passionate about performance debugging,

benchmarking, building awesome things, and picking up new

technologies and skills

Skill Requirements

● Tech stack: AWS, Chef, Ubuntu, Docker, Kubernetes, OpsGenie,

Honeybadger, Errorception, Datadog, Newrelic

● Experience Dockerizing existing web applications

● Setting up alerts and monitoring for system infrastructure

● Monitoring system and application health

● Cost optimization

● Optimizing the utilization of Redis, Redshift, RDS, Memcache,

ElasticSearch,

● Experience with security and compliance with industry standards such

as ISO 27001, SOC2, FedRamp

● Experience with security, threat modeling, penetration testing, static

analysis

● Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery; setting

up and operating systems like Jenkins, Travis and providing

infrastructure support for multiple suites of regression testing.

● As a DevOps, you should have experience building internal tooling for

CI, infrastructure, or developer efficiency/productivity

● Advanced coding proficiency in Python

● An understanding of the DevOps ecosystem concerning tooling,

Continuous Delivery, Continuous Integration, Infrastructure as Code

● Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong soft skills

when managing both technical and non-technical stakeholders

● Be self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership over complex

problems and their related solutions

● Extensive knowledge of and experience improving CI systems and

Static Analysis

● Strong knowledge on IDE plugins and integrations.

● Being familiar and comfortable with introducing tools for source control

performance and previous implementation thereof.
