2. Job Purpose
Main Responsibilities


As the Recruitment Adviser-India, you will be assigned to support the India team's recruitment and conversion activities for Lakehead University.

You will provide assistance to the University's International Office and the India team lead at all stages of their student recruitment process, including maintaining best practices and confidentiality of university data.

You will be engaged in delegated marketing and outreach activities, database maintenance, and other initiatives undertaken by the client to enhance their footprint in India.


Key Responsibilities

  • Participating in recruitment and outreach events (both online and inperson) for prospective students, their parents, and counselors.
  • Maintain and actively support agents and other key channel partners. This will include providing information, training, and a high level of customer service.
  • Participate in school visits/events. Engage and enhance network with school counselors across India
  • Assist in identifying opportunities to increase brand awareness/market visibility, marketing and communication strategies, and viable advertising opportunities in the Indian market. Assist in preparing the marketing material.
  • Build effective working relationships with a range of stakeholders in the education sector in accordance with relevant requirements and policies.
  • Attend education events, tradeshows, conferences, webinars, virtual events, and others, and represent the university as and when required
  • Advice on how to leverage new recruitment opportunities and partnerships thoroughly in order to meet the enrolment priorities.
  • Assist in the development of a social media strategy and engage in social media activities to enhance university outreach
  • Assist in hosting online events and information sessions, assist with localized content and promotions
  • Carryout postactivity followup, including compiling data on student leads, and preparing and submitting reports on outcomes to the University.
  • Liaise and coordinate with appropriate internal teams for administrative issues including IT, HR, and Administration
  • Support towards online research, gathering market intelligence, presentations, updating databases, information management, events, and conferences
  • Book venues for information sessions, and events and schedule visits for university representatives, send confirmations, prebook hotel, and arrange ground transportation as necessary.
  • Any other duties as directed, commensurate with the scope and classification of the position.
  • Provided assistance to Implement the University's plan for the enhancement and growth of international institutional engagements in the designated region, as required

Information and reporting

  • Develop and maintain a key contacts list and share a report with the client as and when necessary.
  • Recording information from recruitment events and campaigns.
  • Maintain timesheets for projects and submit relevant reports as specified

Other

  • Professionally conduct support for recruitment, observing confidentiality in relation to the University data, market intelligence, and other knowledge and information about the University.
  • If required by the client, participate in training virtually from India.
  • All activities or assignments must be discussed and planned with the Recruitment Advisor (S.Asia) before execution.
  • Any other duties as directed, commensurate with the scope and classification of the position.
  • Knowledge / Understanding of International HE systems/processes.
  • Ensuring that the ontheground delivery of the intervention is focused on achieving the mutually agreed objectives and targets.
  • Coordination and liaise with internal administrative teams and with vendors for travel, hotel, event bookings, etc. as and when required
