- Drive mid to long term planning and buying directions/strategies for a category
- Work with cross functional teams to drive strategic goals and initiatives
- Prepare Merchandise plans and OTB plans aligned with AOP
- Plan and execute sale strategies: monthly sales planning, promotion & discount planning etc.
- Responsible for key planning metrics like Revenue, Stock cover, GM%, Discounting, Ageing, Sell thru, Full price sell thru etc.
- Create business plans, aided by data modelling and analytics in the process of business planning
- Take ownership to drive automation and proactive alerts/mechanism within respective functions
Job Mandate:
- Conduct analysis for assigned business problems by collecting data from all internal and external sources and analyze to get answers to business questions.
- Maturity to handle ambiguous business scenarios and arrive at logical business solutions with limited data / uncertainties
- Help in putting together business proposal based on data, trends etc.
- Put together excel models for business scenario analysis
- Comfortable in tracking key business KPIs through automated dashboards and ad-hoc data analysesEducation Requirements Bcom/MBASkills & Competencies Excellent analytical and communication skills,Excellent presentation skills
