Our Bangalore HR Solutions is seeking a "Supervisor - India Payroll" for our Global Payroll Operations team. We are looking for passionate, forward-thinking individuals who are contribution motivated, driven to innovate and love facing new challenges.

What You Will Do

  • Oversee the endtoend India payroll process to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing for all Indiabased employees.
  • Ensure all payroll transactions are processed efficiently and in accordance with company policies and statutory regulations.
  • Manage payrollrelated reporting and analytics, providing insights to senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and central payroll laws and regulations in India.
  • Stay updated on changes in payroll laws and regulations and implement necessary changes to payroll processes.
  • Oversee taxrelated issues, including TDS (Tax Deducted at Source), PF (Provident Fund), ESI (Employee State Insurance), and other statutory requirements.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the payroll team, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Conduct effective reviews and provide feedback to team members.
  • Foster a collaborative and highperforming team environment.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance payroll operations, accuracy, and efficiency.
  • Leverage technology and automation to streamline payroll processes.
  • Develop and maintain payroll procedures and documentation.
  • Collaborate with inter and intra teams to ensure alignment of payroll processes with company objectives.
  • Maintain strong relationships with external payroll service providers and vendors.
  • Oversee and manage payrollrelated audits, both internal and external.
  • Ensure all payroll records are maintained accurately and confidentially.
  • Generate and present regular payroll reports and analytics to senior management.
  • Contribute to the development of payroll strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Participate in budget planning and cost management for payroll operations.
  • Provide insights and recommendations for payroll policy development and changes.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Minimum of 10+ years of experience in India payroll management, with at least 35 years in a supervisory/manager role.
  • Indepth knowledge of Indian payroll laws, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problemsolving abilities.
  • Proficient in payroll software and MS Office Suite.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with payroll systems such as ADP, Greyt, Ascent, Allsec, Workday is an added advantage
  • Familiarity with ASIA payroll processes and compliance is added advantage.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced and dynamic environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
