The Oracle Global Service Center (GSC) is a specialized unit within Oracle that fosters enduring relationships with numerous Oracle clients via long-term service agreements and one-time project-based services. Acting as an offshore hub, the GSC caters to the needs of various service entities across Oracle on a global scale. The GSC team offers a wide range of IT services, both on fixed price and T&M basis, primarily sought after by major Oracle clients that demand meticulous attention to crucial applications and processes. Description

What You'll Do

  • An experienced HCM Functional Consultant who comprehensively understands various solutions, industry-standard methodologies, multiple business processes, and technology designs within a product/technology family.
  • Independently deliver quality work products to engagements, demonstrating proficiency in a myriad of tasks requiring independent judgment for the implementation of Oracle products and technology to meet customer requirements.
  • Apply Oracle methodology, organizational procedures, and best practices while showcasing expertise in providing functional and technical solutions for moderately complex customer engagements.
  • May assume the role of team lead on diverse projects, effectively communicating with management of customer organizations and actively participating in business development activities.
  • Develop and configure detailed solutions for moderately complex projects, ensuring seamless execution.

Required Skills/Experience

What You'll Bring

  • Ability to comprehensively understand customer requirements and provide effective solutions.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in various modules such as OTL, learning, Compensation and Benefits, Talent management (with significant experience in at least one or two modules).
  • Experience with Fast Formula, Retro functionalities.
  • Desirable technical experience in areas like data modeling of HCM Schemas and PL/SQL.
  • Proven expertise in preparing Functional documents including Requirement Gathering, Solution Design, Gap Analysis, System Test scripts, and application setup.
  • Design and configuration of complex requirements in Oracle EBS HRMS R12.
  • Conduct design workshops and provide mentorship on integrations, conversions, and reports.
  • Identify, assess, and resolve intricate functional issues/problems.
  • Hands-on experience in Extensions, Data Conversion/Migrations, Inbound/Outbound interfaces, Reports, Forms, and Customizations.
  • Experience in R12.2 Upgrade.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, team-oriented environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of functional flows of HRMS Cycles.
  • Familiarity with Finance is an added advantage.
  • Participation in at least 3-4 full life cycle implementations, preferably including US implementation exposure.
  • Experience in architecture, design, and solution workshops, conceptualizing integration designs, and presenting ideas in a client-facing role.
  • Bachelor of Engineering or MBA with 5 to 10 years of total experience in EBS or Cloud Application Implementations.
  • Excellent communication skills (written & verbal) are a must.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to establish rapport with all stakeholders.
  • Aptitude for presenting ideas and solutions clearly and concisely.
  • Self-driven with high energy and a willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and possess strong analytical skills.
