The Souled Store is a homegrown youth casual-wear brand started in 2013.

We are one of India's largest online merchandising platforms with licenses like Disney, Warner Bros., WWE, IPL, Viacom18 to name a few.

Apart from selling products with themed designs such as superheroes, movies, TV shows, and cartoons, the brand also is at the forefront of the latest youth style and fashion trends.

In addition to core men and women wear apparel categories, we are also in the process of expanding to new categories and introducing new product lines in the existing categories like activewear, supima products, innerwear, personal care products like perfumes and very recently launched footwear and kidswear.


Although we are primarily an online brand, we've expanded in the offline retail space as well and have 13 offline stores with plans for expansion pan India.

Team Position & Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to join our team as an Associate Sourcing (Bags). The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in our sourcing operations, specifically focusing on bagpacks and luggage categories.

The candidate should possess a strong background in sourcing, with a proven track record of successfully managing sourcing activities, particularly from the China region.


Key Responsibilities :
Develop and execute sourcing strategies for bagpacks and luggage categories to ensure a reliable and cost-effective supply chain.
Identify and evaluate potential suppliers in the China region, fostering strong relationships to optimize quality, cost, and delivery.
Collaborate with existing and potential suppliers, negotiating contracts and terms to achieve favorable agreements.
Conduct regular supplier assessments and audits to ensure compliance with quality standards, ethical practices, and regulatory requirements.
Analyze market trends and pricing to make informed decisions that optimize costs without compromising product quality.
Implement cost-saving initiatives while maintaining high-quality standards.
Work closely with the quality control team to establish and maintain rigorous quality standards for bagpacks and luggage.
Implement and monitor quality control processes throughout the sourcing and production stages.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including logistics, production, and sales, to ensure seamless coordination throughout the supply chain.
Proactively identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure a continuous and reliable flow of products.
Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and innovations related to bagpacks and luggage.
Provide regular market insights and recommendations to leadership to guide strategic decision-making.
Ensure all sourcing activities comply with relevant regulations and company policies.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation related to sourcing agreements, contracts, and supplier information.

Qualification & CompetenciesBachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Proven experience in sourcing for bagpacks and luggage, with a focus on the China region.
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Familiarity with international trade regulations and compliance.
Ability to analyze market trends and make data-driven decisions.
Excellent organizational and project management skills.
Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
