This position is responsible for the operation of a department.

Essential FunctionsAn individual must be able to successfully perform the essential functions of this position with or without a reasonable accommodation.


Analysis and Reporting:
Leads analysis of partner performance across multiple dimensions and/or sites to identify future opportunities. Ensures pipeline analysis reflects current, new and potential future opportunities.

Drives the execution of multiple business plans and projects by identifying customer and operational needs; developing and communicating business plans and priorities; removing barriers and obstacles that impact performance; providing resources; identifying performance standards; measuring progress and adjusting performance accordingly; developing contingency plans; and demonstrating adaptability and supporting continuous learning.


Account Strategy Development:
Leads all sales and business-case development activities for large-sized retailers. Develops account segmentation and priority recommendations for a highly complex category.
Collaborates with retail and distributor partners to develop complex actionable account plans. Leverages and integrates ongoing analysis of pipeline progress and future opportunities to develop business strategies.

Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates by selecting and training; mentoring; assigning duties; building a team-based work environment; establishing performance expectations and conducting regular performance evaluations; providing recognition and rewards; coaching for success and improvement; and ensuring diversity awareness.


Relationship and Account Management:
Serves as a key point of contact between the organization and large-sized retailers. Develops KPIs for a highly complex category to improve purchase order reconciliations, recall procedures and associated processes and tools. Determines new optimal retailers/brands to improve product breadth, margin and sales for a highly complex category.
Develops and maintains responsibility for a retailer/brand target pipeline. Designs and executes processes that will drive continuous improvement and growth of partner-facing operations and services. Promotes the brand, acting as a trusted advisor and ensures long-term, mutually-beneficial relationships. Provides input into self-service support strategy based on knowledge of support analytics for a highly complex category.

Promotes and supports company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by training and providing direction to others in their use and application; ensuring compliance with them; and utilizing and supporting the Open Door Policy.


Partner Orientation and Integration:
Promotes Walmart's value proposition to team and internal/external contacts. Sources and closes relationships with high complexity and determines the best way for the retailer to connect with Walmart.
Understands and communicates integration requirements.

Ensures business needs are being met by evaluating the ongoing effectiveness of current plans, programs, and initiatives; consulting with business partners, managers, co-workers, or other key stakeholders; soliciting, evaluating, and applying suggestions for improving efficiency and cost(1)effectiveness; and participating in and supporting community outreach events.


Performance Optimization Action Planning:
Develops action plans and engagement strategies to improve performance for partnerships for a category with high complexity

Collaboration:

Collaborates with cross-functional managers and teams to assess/analyze performance and ongoing pipeline for retailers and brands in a highly complex category.

Collaborates with Category Managers to identify gaps (e.g., assortment/mix) for a highly complex category.

People Development:
Builds and leads a team to execute on business area or category objectives.
Coaches team members and provide feedback to enhance skills, knowledge and work performance. Have performance and career development conversations. Maintains team motivation and engagement. Mentors Partnership Specialists.
