ConfirmsSoftware objectives and specifications by testing new softwarecomparing them with established standards and making modifications.
Evaluates vendorsupplied software by studying user objectives andtesting software compatibility with existing Software and programs.
Installs software and necessary applications for workflow.
Trainsusers on new software in person or through a variety of tutorialchannels including selfguided training videos user manuals anddigital instruction pages often in collaboration with technicalwriters.
Maintains system capability by testing computercomponents. Carries out software network and database performancetuning. Documents hardware and software updates. Keeps up to dateon technical advancements by attending educational workshopsreviewing professional publications and participating inprofessional societies.Prepares reference material for users bydrafting operation instructions Skills & Requirements:
Excellent problemsolving and troubleshooting skills. The ability tocommunicate technical information in an accessible manner tonontechnical employees and the developer team. Software maintenanceand testing capability. Basic knowledge of networking principlesand operating systems. Ability to effectively prioritize andexecute tasks in a highpressure environment.
