Job Description


Implement identity and Access Management access control to Azure portal and resourcesPerform infrastructure migration (physical or virtual) to Cloud, as and when requiredActively participate in weekly Ops and design calls, monthly and quarterly meetings with clientsDefine and provide the correct level of access to team membersActively work on hosting cost reduction initiatives (auto shutdown-start-up non-prod VMs during off-hour, BYOL, clean-up of unallocated disks, NIC, and old snapshots)Implement and troubleshoot Cloud VDI (Virtual Desktop Environment)Actively participate in knowledge sharing and mentoring L1 and L2 associatesContribute to automate repetitive tasks (like VM provision, patching, etc.)

Create SOW for new engagements and projects

Required Technical Competencies


Expert Knowledge of Linux and WindowsExpert Knowledge of Amazon Web Services IaaS / PaaSWorking Experience in CloudFormation/Terraform (Infrastructure as Code), CDK, Elastic Beanstalk, ECS (Orchestrating Containers), OpsWorks (Automate Operations), CodeDeploy, CodePipeline, CodeCommit (Implementing CI/CD pipelines on AWS)Certification is mandatory to professional level for AWS.Working Knowledge on TCP/IP, NFS, NIS, DNS, DCE/DFS, LDAP, LPAR, SNMP, Workload balancing, IAM & LakeFormation.

Knowledge of shell scripting (Bash, sed, awk, etc).Strong CLI and API technology use experience (e.g.

PowerShell, Python, Ruby, Bash, YAML or JSON)Familiarity with Apache, Samba, MySQL will be an added advantageAWS platform development and deployment concepts (Good to have Azure too along with AWS)Design, develop, manage and support AWS & based Solutions.

Manage proof of concepts, exploratory projects to identify, evaluate and eventually adopt most suitable

  • Cloud Computing (Public & Private Clouds, IaaS, PaaS and SaaS) model.

Core concepts of VHD, VHDX, Azure Tooling & Blob storage handling and workload migration to and from AWS, VMware etc.

Knowledge of industry standard virtualization product (Vmware / Citrix / RHEV).Experience in migrating on-premise solutions/applications to CloudFamiliarity with Oracle, Apache, Samba, MySQL, PostgreSQL would be an added advantage.

ITIL Process certifiedRequires excellent communications skills, both verbal and writtenAbility to be part of an On-Call Rotation and perform weekend activities as needed in a global 24×7 environment
