The main responsibility is to facilitate the coordination, implementation, and evaluation of training programs and initiatives within the organization. In this role, you will collaborate closely with another Coordinator, the Talent and Learning Operations Lead, the Talent and Leadership Lead, the business TLBPs (Talent and Learning Business Partners), and the wider Talent and Learning COE (Centre of Excellence) team leads to guarantee a seamless execution of training activities that align with organizational objectives. You will have a pivotal role in fostering talent development within Lloyd's Register, ensuring it aligns with strategic goals and cultivates a culture of learning and growth. Your expertise will significantly contribute to the ongoing success and competitive positioning of Lloyd's Register.What we offer:

The Role:
  • Training Programme Coordination: Coordinate the planning, scheduling, and logistics of training programs, workshops, and events to ensure smooth execution and adherence to timelines.
  • Training Coordination Support: Provide logistical support for internal and external training events, including venue booking, equipment setup, catering arrangements, and participant communications.
  • Training Administration: Manage training records, attendance, and evaluations utilizing learning management systems (LMS) or other tracking tools to maintain accurate and up-to-date training documentation.
  • Training Evaluation and Reporting: Gather and analyze training feedback and evaluation data to assess the effectiveness of training programs and offer suggestions for continuous improvement.
  • Trusted Advisor: Act as a reliable advisor to the business, offering guidance and assistance in implementing effective training solutions that address skill gaps and support business objectives.
  • Stakeholder Relationships: Establish and nurture relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including internal clients and external partners. Address queries in learning program inboxes professionally and promptly.
  • Financial Tracking: Handle purchase orders, process invoices, and aid the Operations Lead in tracking the expenditure of training activities for effective reporting on Talent and Learning Spend.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with Talent and Learning Leads and key business stakeholders on the fundamental operational aspects of Talent and Learning activities.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay informed about emerging trends, best practices, and innovations in training and development methodologies to enhance training delivery and effectiveness by integrating new ideas and technologies.
  • Process Efficiency: Identify areas for enhancement in talent and learning systems, processes, and procedures to ensure they are effective and efficient in meeting business requirements.
What you bring:
  • Experience in managing senior stakeholders and a proven track record in core HR competencies and exposure to associated risks.
  • A degree or equivalent in a relevant field of study.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience as a Talent and Learning Coordinator.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of HR processes and Talent and Learning best practices.
  • Proven experience in training coordination or event management.
  • The ability to work collaboratively, consult effectively, and independently with senior levels of the organization.
  • The ability to thrive in a high-performing, motivating, supportive, and collaborative team environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage with diverse organizational stakeholders.
  • Experience or exposure to Project management skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently, prioritize workload, and take initiative.
  • Proficiency in the English language commensurate with the work.
