  • Enhance business insights capabilities, passionate about resolving intricate issues with data; introducing fresh perspectives to current solutions and making business decisions through meticulous analysis.
  • Acquire in-depth expertise in sentiment analysis, contextual data mining, social listening, and data annotation for Airbnb products and services.

A Typical Workday:

  • Manage projects with regular guidance; offering consistent updates to business stakeholders, analytics management and meet agreed-upon deadlines.
  • Analyze data to uncover patterns and relationships among different data points
  • Ensure data quality and integrity for analysis and reporting, collaborating closely with global insights and India analytics teams.
  • Conduct ad-hoc reporting, data examinations, identify root causes, prioritize requests and establish standard reports on emerging social media subjects.
  • Tackle business problems within defined scope using relevant analytical tools and develop scalable solutions involving descriptive, diagnostic, and predictive analytics.
  • Determine optimal methods to evaluate the performance of Airbnb products and business through fresh metrics and dimensions.
  • Present ideas, solutions, and progress updates to business stakeholders.
  • Plan project roadmap up to a month ahead, in consultation with the team manager while considering timelines and available resources.


Requirements
  • 4-6 years of industry experience and a degree (Bachelors or Masters) in digital marketing, business analytics or a related field.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to work efficiently with internal teams in a diverse and multifunctional setting.
  • Ability to conduct thorough analysis and convey findings to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Demonstrated track record of delivering valuable insights and influencing business outcomes through analytics.
  • Basic level understanding of analytical frameworks, statistical methodologies and reporting tools such as Tableau/Power BI.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in social media tools like Talkwalker, Sprinklr, Brandwatch, etc and data labeling methods using social media data.
  • Advanced proficiency in presentation software including Keynote, Google Slides, and PowerPoint.
  • Hands-on experience collaborating with internal teams to drive actions and provide insights on root cause analysis, metric measurement, and insights generation.
  • Possess a positive and solution-driven mindset, able to maintain objectivity and confidentiality.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills, self-motivation and ability to work independently, taking charge of projects and seeing them through completion.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities, managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines effectively.
  • Knowledge and understanding of NLP techniques using textual data would be advantageous
