About the Position

PATH is looking for a Program Officer - Health Systems Strengthening to work on implementing health system projects in Indore under the TIS vertical. The selected candidate will provide technical assistance to strengthen the health system across the intervention geography.

Responsibilities

  • Support in planning and implementing national health program activities in Indore
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop evidence-based policies
  • Ensure implementation of urban primary healthcare interventions
  • Undertake supportive supervision visits to health facilities
  • Implement quality improvement initiatives and more

Required Experience and Qualifications

  • Seeking candidates with essential Master's/PG Diploma in Public Health or Health Management
  • 3-5 years of experience in public health sector focusing on planning and implementation
  • Prior experience in primary healthcare settings desired
  • Technical knowledge in planning and implementation of public health programs required
  • Familiarity with Indian public health system and health sector initiatives preferred

Skills/Abilities

  • Self-starter with strong communication skills in English and Hindi
  • Experience liaising with government health functionaries and development partners
  • Data analysis and visualization skills
  • Strong coordination and collaboration abilities
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Ability to handle assignments under deadlines
