WHAT YOU'LL DO
Join our multinational team as a seasoned Linux & Cloud Administrator responsible for providing L3/L4 expert support for all Linux OS and infrastructure-related customer issues. You'll play a crucial role in building automation solutions and enhancing our platform operations to deliver top-tier cloud services tailored for SAP Applications to enterprise customers worldwide.
Key Responsibilities:
Accountable for ensuring round-the-clock availability of SAP systems operating within SAP ECS. Tasked with promptly responding to, troubleshooting, and resolving alerts and incidents occurring within the Linux OS or infrastructure layers, spanning across Azure environments. Implement and manage high availability solutions using clustering technologies, particularly Pacemaker. Serving as the elevated L3/L4 escalation contact for critical production issues. Adhering to change management protocols while executing service requests. Actively pursuing avenues to optimize standard operating procedures by leveraging automation techniques. Implement automation solutions to streamline platform operations, enhancing efficiency and reliability. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to elevate our cloud services for SAP Applications, focusing on scalability, security, and performance. Work closely with a diverse, multinational team to ensure the delivery of world-class cloud services tailored specifically for SAP Applications to our global enterprise clientele. Participate in designing and implementing strategies to optimize the customer experience and meet service level agreements (SLAs).WHAT YOU'LL BRING
7 -10 years of experience in administering Linux operating systems (Redhat / SuSe) at an advanced level, with a strong grasp of troubleshooting and resolving complex issues. Expertise in implementing and managing high availability clustering solutions, especially Pacemaker. Hands-on experience in administering Azure environments. Proficiency in networking encompassing TCP/IP, IP routing, NAT, and firewalls. Demonstrated expertise in managing network services such as DNS, LDAP, and HTTP proxies. Strong comprehension of IT security practices, particularly in OS hardening techniques. Proven track record in scripting languages (e.g., Shell, Perl, Python, Go, etc.) and adeptness with server automation tools like Ansible or CHEFMEET YOUR TEAM
SAP Enterprise Cloud Services (ECS) Delivery is a private cloud managed services provider who offers SAP applications in the SAP Enterprise Cloud Services. Our team "ECS Delivery Technical Operations" is responsible for 24x7 operations of these business-critical SAP systems in the cloud.
We're currently seeking a Senior Linux Site Reliability Engineer to join our multinational team. Your role will focus on supporting our cloud platform operations across various cloud environments, including Azure and SAP datacentre You'll play a key role in automating and enhancing our services to deliver world-class cloud solutions for SAP Applications to our enterprise customers worldwide.
Your responsibilities will involve ensuring the smooth 24/7 operations of our cloud services. This includes troubleshooting issues, implementing architectural and operational improvements, and developing automation solutions to support our cloud platform's reliability and efficiency. Your contributions will be vital in delivering exceptional cloud services to our global clientele.
