As we expand, we are seeking a skilled Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to lead our information security strategy.



Job Overview:

- The Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) is accountable for establishing and maintaining the enterprise's vision, strategy, and program to safeguard information assets and technologies.



- The CISO will collaborate closely with senior management, IT, and various departments to identify, develop, implement, and uphold processes across the organization to minimize information and IT risks.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

- Develop, execute, and oversee a strategic, comprehensive enterprise information security and IT risk management program.



- Provide guidance and leadership to the information security team and ensure alignment with business objectives.

Risk Management:

- Recognize, evaluate, and prioritize information security risks, and supervise the creation and execution of security measures to mitigate these risks.

- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Policy Development:

- Establish and update information security policies, procedures, and standards that mirror best practices and comply with regulatory demands.

- Conduct routine reviews and enhancements of security policies and procedures.

Incident Response:

- Lead the incident response team and oversee the investigation and resolution of security breaches and incidents.

- Develop and implement a sound incident response plan and conduct regular drills and training sessions.

Security Awareness:

- Foster security awareness and education throughout the organization.

- Provide regular training sessions and workshops for employees to ensure comprehension of security policies and best practices.

- Deliver training to developers on secure coding practices and security compliance requirements.

Collaboration:

- Collaborate closely with the IT department to guarantee secure implementation of new technologies and systems.

- Partner with external stakeholders to enhance the organization's security posture.

- Coordinate with specialized agencies for Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT).

Secure Development:

- Implement and advocate secure coding standards across development teams.

- Ensure software development processes include security checks and align with best practices.

Reporting:

Regularly update the executive team and board of directors on the information security program and emerging risks.



- Prepare and present reports and presentations on security metrics, incidents, and more.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field; Master's degree preferred.

- Minimum of 10 years of experience in information security, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity.

- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA.

- Strong knowledge of information security frameworks and standards.

- Expertise in risk assessment, management, regulatory compliance, secure coding practices, and incident response.

- Experience in conducting Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
