We are looking for a skilled and experienced Senior Travel Consultant specialized in Tourism Sales to take the lead of our sales team and boost revenue growth for our new venture. The ideal candidate should have a solid sales leadership background and a deep understanding of the tourism sector.

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to reach company objectives in the travel industry.
  • Establish and follow through on the customer travel sales process and pitch.
  • Manage customer relationships effectively.
  • Inspire, drive, and oversee the sales team to consistently surpass goals.
  • Spot new business prospects and collaborations to widen our market reach and client base.
  • Cultivate and sustain strong ties with crucial clients and stakeholders in tourism.
  • Analyze industry trends and competitors to stay ahead and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to ensure sales efforts align with overall business goals.
  • Create regular sales reports and forecasts for senior management, highlighting performance metrics and improvement areas.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Tourism and Travel Management, Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality, or related field. MBA or equivalent is a plus.
  • Minimum 3 years of sales experience, with knowledge of domestic, European, and far-East tourism destinations.
  • At least 1 year in a leadership or management position, preferably in tourism.
  • Proven history of achieving and surpassing sales targets and boosting revenue.
  • Effective leadership and team-building abilities to motivate a diverse sales team.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills to foster client and partner relationships.
  • Thorough understanding of the tourism industry, including market trends and customer preferences.
  • Proficient in CRM tools and other sales management software.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
  • Languages required: Kannada and English
