Siemens Limited India isseeking a responsible, professional, and self-motivated individual to fill aposition in Gas Turbine - Research & development in Gurgaon, India as partof the Performance and Thermodynamics (PT) department.The PT department is responsible for theperformance of Industrial and Aero-derivative gas-turbines used inpower-generation and mechanical drive applications.

The department are responsible for the thermodynamics andgas-turbine performance from the conceptual design stage through development,manufacturing, testing, fleet analysis and service upgrades for the entire gasturbine portfolio.This team hasownership of the performance models for customer negotiations and is alsoresponsible for customer and factory gas turbine performance testing.The team continuously develops, maintains,and improves our internal gas turbine performance related tools and methods toincrease the competitiveness of the Siemens Energy portfolio and improveproductivity. The role will support both existing and new customers throughanalysis, bid support, evaluation of fleet and tuning of engines. We value thatyou are driven and customer oriented. Mechanical/Aerospace Engineer graduate/Postgraduate fromrecognized college/university More than 3 years of gas turbine experience in research, design, development,and technical support with concentration in thermodynamic analysis, performancetesting and/or fleet support Strong knowledge of gas turbine engine thermodynamics andaerodynamics Experience in gas turbine performance prediction. Experience in thermal performance analysis (overall and component) Experience in research and development of gas turbine engines. Experience in gas turbine engine testing. Experience in gas turbine engine diagnostics. Candidate must be capable of interpreting data and results. Candidate must be detail‐oriented, analytical, and organized. Candidate must be assertive, self‐motivated, and results oriented. Candidate must be capable of working on complex issues and offer solutions. Strong communication and presentation skills

Excellent verbal and written communications skills, including goodpresentation skills. Demonstrated ability to successfully manage a task/project tosatisfy technical, budget, and schedule requirements. Quality and customer-oriented mindset. Must be proactive andhighly motivated.
