In this role you organize,coordinate, and control all business activities for Gas Turbine productdevelopment in the Combustion technology domain as part of a global R&Denvironment with the objective of customer satisfaction, global competitiveness,and innovation in.You lead, develop,and motivate a group of dedicated qualified managers & employees to achieveand exceed challenging targets.

Identify and understand problems and opportunities by gathering,analyzing, and interpreting quantitative and qualitative information.Choose the best course of action byestablishing clear decision criteria, generating, and evaluating alternatives,and make timely decisions.


•Drive and support Gas turbine Combustion alternative fuel(Hydrogen etc.) technology development & validation within the global teamset-up


•Establish an action plan for self, group manager and others tocomplete work efficiently and on time by setting priorities, establishingtimelines, and leveraging resources.


•Set high goals for personal and group accomplishment that arealigned with global business priorities. Use measurement methods to monitorprogress toward goals.Tenaciously workto meet or exceed goals while deriving satisfaction from that achievement andcontinuous improvement.


•Encourage others to implement better approaches to addressproblems and opportunities.Lead theimplementation and acceptance of change within the workplace.

We don't need superheroes, just super minds:

Ph.D., Master's or Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or relatedbranch, such as aeronautical, aerospace, civil or naval engineering. •Thorough professionalknow-how in Engineering/R&D based on practical experience in turbomachinerydesign and development, coupled with a sound theoretical foundation. •Minimum 5 years ofexperience with Gas Turbine components technology; domain knowledge &exposure to mechanical design, mechanical integrity, heat transfer, andaerodynamics competencies of Gas turbine components. •Leadership and Peoplemanagement experience preferred. •Experience in interculturalcollaboration •Leading, living, anddemonstrating Siemens energy essentials such as: O SE values - Caring, Agile,Respectful, Accountable oBehaviors - Focus on theCustomer, Decisively Move Forward, Be Open and Inclusive, Build StrongPartnerships Leadership essentials -Create the Future, Be Curious Learners, Deliver as One (one culture - onecompany), Ignite Change, Grow our People, Stand for Safety & Integrity •Ability to inspire othersby having a vision and strategy derived from an authentic purpose. •Propensity to care aboutpeople and support them as sparring partners, appreciate their efforts, andcoach them to reach their full potential. •Willingness to challengethe status quo in an open and trustful manner to continuously improve. •Belief in distributingauthority by giving people the freedom to decide and hold them to account ontheir commitments. •Clear understanding of theimportance of psychological safety. •Motivation to join in andparticipate in the daily work of the team, follow, and take action when needed. •Strength and discipline toact as a role model for agreed behaviors and to lead by example. •Excellent oral and writtencommunication skills in English.
