**Space and Presentation

  • Roles and Responsibilities**:
  • Handles projects involving macro/micro space design, planning and execution for respective business area/division.
  • Creates store specific planograms/visual space plans that illustrate layout and flow of merchandising categories/assortment by leveraging data, business context & presentation architecture.
  • Responsible for developing and maintaining global partnership for seamless exchange of knowledge and context.


 Knowledge Management
  • Create, Validate, Store & Share category/business context and execution guidelines.
  • Leverage Project Management practices to help the team deliver projects within prescribed timelines with expected level of quality
  • Work in a team environment with focus on achieving team goals vs individual goals

Merchandizing Operations - Roles and Responsibilities**:

  • Responsible for maintaining the item life cycle, including end-of-life activities, once the item is synchronized, as well as digital and day-to-day maintenance of products.
  • Manages item status change, reactivation, indicator updates, Digital Asset flow & troubleshooting/error resolution, and maintains awareness of all business activities, such as line reviews and promotional events, to drive a consistent level of business readiness.
  • Help online revenue and traffic growth by improving the consistency and accuracy of item data through the use and creation of collection processes and online tools.
  • Proactively work with Online Merchandising and Merchandising Operations to monitor and improve the quality of item data used in all digital/Omnichannel assets.
  • Executes all formal item lifecycle processes and identifies process improvement opportunities.
  • Partners with the right teams for any issues needing resolution, with regards to item data maintenance.

Supply Chain Operations - Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for improving inbound flow from suppliers to Lowe's distribution centers and stores based on complex analytics that impacts channel selection, inventory placement decisions, supplier ship-point optimization, freight mode selection, freight ownership that is informed by merchant and replenishment business parameters and service expectations. This will also include direct ownership of the Prepaid-to-Collect conversion program.
  • Prioritize optimization opportunities in product categories based on line review schedules, seasonality and tactical needs for their given business area.
  • Collaborates with Supply Chain Planning, Network Optimization, Transportation and DC Ops teams to execute improvements to inbound flow for targeted product areas, supplier programs, and replenishment strategies.
  • Main point of contact for supplierspecific network flow issues that require channel, frequency, shippoint or other identified supplier inefficiencies
  • Evaluate Inventory depth and flow timing of freight ordered vs received
  • Extract data, reporting and analysis to generate business insights

Online Merchandising - Roles & Responsibilities

  • There would be little actual creation of content; however, if the assets provided for whatever reason don't fully work in the CMS, those Authors would need the ability to open creative documents and tweak/adjust accordingly to get assets as needed to ingest into the CMS
  • Once they add the correct components and accompanying content to a page, an Author would then ensure all the appropriate meta data and technical information is added to the spots like segmentation, meta data, alt text, etc
  • All of this is provided via an excel intake
  • Once complete, an Operations analyst reviews against the intake to ensure it is correct and then validation again once it hits production
  • An Author would need to have the following skills or experience:
  • Experience using an enterprise-level Content Management System (CMS)
  • Adobe Experience Manager, IBM, etc
  • Wordpress, Squarespace and other consumer level CMS' isn't completely applicable
  • Experience with some degree of graphic or screen design
  • Basically, need to know how to find their way around creative software if needed
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to troubleshoot

The Media Analyst will be responsible for helping to track Lowes' planned media spend across all channels at a weekly, channel and campaign level.

Additionally, they will work with our vendor funded media program to build reporting for product vendors detailing the performance of co-funded media investments on a quarterly basis.


  • Develop media reporting for vendor funded campaigns on a quarterly level for 60+ strategic vendors in coop program.
  • Track Lowe's planned media spend across paid search, social, print and instore signage on a weekly and campaign level, reporting back to media and channel managers on a weekly basis.
