About the Role
At HARMAN, we recognize that effective collaboration and adaptability are critical elements in delivering value to our customers.

As a member of our Build and Integration team, you will learn and support DevOps and CI/CD practices. You will get hands-on experience working with tools such as Git/Gerrit, Jenkins and Python. Your experienced colleagues will teach you the basics to build and manage our CI/CD toolchain.

Your Team
The position reports to the Head of Build and Integration India.

As an integral member of our experienced development team, you will make an impact working closely with Software Engineers, Test Engineers, and our Integration Software Project Leaders.


What You Will Do

  • Perform daytoday software integration activities.
  • Help set up, configure, and monitor our CI/CD environment.
  • Automate build, test, and deployment workflows.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth integration of code changes.
  • Write scripts (Python, Groovy, Bash) to improve the CI/CD development workflow according to project needs.
  • Document build and deployment processes.
  • Participation in team meetings and contribution to discussions.
  • Attend HARMAN University training courses to enhance your skills.

What You Need

  • Open to learning and improving your technical skills.
  • Basic knowledge and technical understanding of continuous build systems, version control systems, and configuration management.
  • Good communication and facilitation skills.

What is Nice to Have

  • Basic knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Groovy, Bash).
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant engineering discipline or equivalent related field.

What Makes You Eligible

  • Intrinsically motivated, achievementoriented, and deeply passionate about technology.
  • Having good attention to details and good analytical skills.
  • Basic knowledge of Continuous Build (Jenkins) and Version Control Systems (git).
  • Basic knowledge of Yocto and/or Docker and/or Kubernetes.
