Office Location:

Position description:

1. Maintain the accounting system in area office.

  • Regulate credit exposure to the dealers.
  • Ensure achievement of profitability of area office.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • 1.1 Timely updation of collections in SAP.
  • 1.2 Settle dealer claims on time.
  • 1.3 Ensure completion of all sales account schedules.
  • 1.4 Prepare of Bank reconciliation statement.
  • 1.5 Timely accounting of all travel, administrative & other area related marketing expenses as per the company policy for timely reimbursement/settlement.
  • 1.6 prepare & send monthly MIS to Head office.
  • 2.1 Daily review of outstanding & collection & trigger abnormalities to AM,RA,HO sales accounts.
  • 2.2 Analysis of dealers working capital.
  • 2.3 Coordinate with retail finance team in order to bring the dealers into inventory funding mode thus reducing TVSM credit exposure.
  • 3.1 Control AO expenses within budget allocated.
  • 3.2 Collection of C forms from Dealers on time.
  • 3.3 coordinate with sales team to increase other incomes (insurance, extended warranty).
  • 3.4 Timely payment of sales tax and filling of returns.
  • 4.1 Adherence to local statutes viz., Shop and Establishment Act, Profession Tax, etc.
  • 4.2 Monthly physical verification & agewise analysis of stock in warehouse (where applicable).
  • 5. Periodical vist to dealers & train dealer accountants.
