JobSummary Under the direct supervision of the Project Lead VesselDesigner or Engineer The
Vessel Designer is expected tobe adequately qualified in 3D and 2D cad software
Inventor and capable of 3D modeling and 2D drafting work of Vesseldesign of
Cameron Process Systems proposals and projectsunder minimum guidance. he
develops and checks systemdesign CAD files or drawings in conformance with project
specifications scope of work design parameters Standards codesProcedures
industry practices P&IDs clientspecifications and vendor data.

Assistengineers with initial design and final design solutions on aproject.
Conceptualize plans details and sections toaccurately convey construction or
fabricationrequirements.
Prepares and develops 2D and/ or 3D CADdesigns under the supervision of the
Lead VesselDesigner or Engineer.
Responsible for checking and backchecking 3D models and vessel drawings
Ensure compliancewith approved design standards to provide qualitydesign.
Coordinate vendor supplied drawings orinformation into project drawings.
Extract CAD drawingsand sections.
Prepare Bill of Material.
Communicate and interface with other engineeringdisciplines.
Attend 3D model reviews asrequired.
Provide input to the Lessons learned processand utilize findings from the
process to update toolsand processes.
Assist in developing Cameron Standardsfor Cameron products.
Maintaining projectdocumentation.
Teaming up with processengineers.
Coordinate with structural along with Pipingdepartments to assure suitable
flexibility and assistVessel engineering design.
Ensure performance of staffmembers are in compliance with established project
standards.
Review project parameters related to Vesselrequirements.
Participate project meetings and provideproject status.
Provide assistance to sales andcontracts for proposals.
Prepare and manage projectschedule for Vessel design.
Ability and willingness totravel as required. Estimated at up to 10%.
Activelysupport participate in and maintain the integrity and ongoingfunction of
the company and facility HSSE program;ensuring a safe/healthy work
environment.
When delegated must be able to assume a lead technical role overother
engineers or project subgroups for completingspecific tasks.
As applicable must be able to perform orassist in the performance of problem
root cause analysisand lessons learned.
As required must be able to assistsin onthejobtraining and mentoring of
assignedpersonnel
Qualifications
andEducation
Requirement
ITI MechanicalDraughtsman Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
Minimumof 4 years of Vessel design experience in relevant Oil and GasProjects.
Knowledge of industry/ regulatory codes andstandards (ASME API BS PED and
other internationaldetailing knowledge)
Able to conceptualize and drawdesign details independently with minor
instruction fromproject engineering.
Good knowledge of technical aspectsof oil and gas products and processes
(Cameronproducts/processes preferred).
Must be familiar withVessel specifications administrative and technicalpractices
design instructions plot plans flow diagramsand interpreting vendor information.
KnowledgeManufacturing requirements.
General knowledge of oil andgas production hydrocarbon processing and
oil/waterseparation.
Ability to work under pressure and managecompeting priorities.
