Position Summary:
In this role, the Software Engineer will be responsible for design, development, documentation, and

verification of embedded software for AutoSAR based Complex Power Electronics production

projects to meet customer, internal, and regulatory requirement in a fast-paced start-up like

environment within a Fortune 500 Organization.

Educational Qualifications :
B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech in Electronics / Communication / Electrical /

Power Electronics / Instrumentation

Experience : 3-6 years

3+ years of work experience in automotive BSW software development.

2+ years of work experience in with AUTOSAR software.

Major Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop software for use in power electronics production projects including inverter and converter electronic controllers, focusing on reusability across projects whenever possible
  • Design/code/test software following Automotive SPICEcompliant development process
  • Working with multisite teams using AGILE methodology
  • Assist in debugging through established problemsolving techniques and debug on bench
  • Interface with Systems engineering to ensure software requirements are understood and documented appropriately & analyzed prior to software design and implementation
  • Support the development/maintenance of and adhere to the project family common software architecture
  • Ensure documented traceability from requirements through test cases
  • Work across time zones with other software engineers
Major Job Qualifications / Skills

  • Strong experience with AUTOSAR architecture, Configuration & implementation of BSW modules for multiple SWCs, (DCM, DEM, CAN, CANIF, SPI, PDUR, MEMIF, NM, EEP, etc,)
  • Proficiency in MCAL Configuration (Gpt, Mcu, Dio, Pwm, Adc, Port, Ocu, CorTst, FlsTst, Icu), MCAL and CDD drivers development.
  • Must have BSW software development experience in configuration of Communication Stack, Diagnostic stack and Network management including CAN, UDS and LIN protocols
  • Solid Handson experience in Vector DaVinci toolchain, EBTresos
  • Strong expertise in Programming (C/C++) and debugging for embedded multithreaded and multi core/CPU software environment.
  • Good experience in Lowlevel drivers software Development (HWIO/CDD), Validation, Debugging & Troubleshooting. Good Expertise in developing drivers for SPI communication.
  • Strong ability to comprehend microcontroller hardware and associated schematics
  • Expertise in cross compilers and debuggers like Lauterbach
  • Experience using industry standard development tools e.g. toolchains, IDEs, configuration management etc.
  • Good expertise in Design tools such as MATLAB/EA, unit testing tools such as TPT/CANTATA/VectorCAST/RTRT, Serial Comm testing tools such as CANoe/CANalyzer/NeoVI Fire.
  • Experience designing complex faulttolerant safety systems, and designing in accordance to industry standard specifications (e.g. ISO26262, ASPICE)
  • Strong development experience in serial communication protocols
  • CAN/CANFD, FLEXRAY, LIN, SENT, ETHERNET, UDS, and Intrumention development using XCP, XETK, UDS
  • Exposure to Agile methodology/CMM/SPICE/ISO 26262 /TS 16949
