Come join the CX team specializing in Enterprise Networking Emerging Tech Solutions (SDA, SDWAN, Meraki, etc.) as a Consulting Engineer. We are looking for a resourceful problem solver, unafraid to challenge conventional methods and adept at swiftly addressing escalated issues. With a blend of extensive networking expertise and specific area knowledge, along with strong Customer Relationship Management skills, you are well-positioned to evolve into a trusted advisor capable of fostering enduring relationships with clients. This role entails taking charge of key accounts to ensure dedicated service delivery.

Who you are
  • Deep technical proficiency in Cisco Routing & Switching platforms is essential.
  • Solid grasp of Cisco's EN Product Line and Solutions: Catalyst Centre (DNAC/SDA), Catalyst SDWAN, Catalyst switching products, and various router families. Hands-on experience with these technologies.
  • Familiarity with cloud computing principles, including public clouds (AWS, Azure, GCP), containers/dockers/virtualization, web services APIs, elastic infrastructure, is advantageous.
  • Networking: OSI Layer 2 and switching expertise (Spanning tree, vPC, Ether-Channel, VLAN, VXLAN, etc), Layer 3 routing (OSPF, EIGRP, ISIS, BGP, MPLS, IPv4/6), DNS/DHCP WAN/ISP, network virtualization (N1kv, VRF), basics of higher layer protocols: SSL/TLS, HTTP, real-time traffic (voice/video), NFS, database access protocols.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or Bash. Preferably, experience with Python.
  • Understanding of other EN technologies such as Meraki, Cisco Wireless, and Cisco ISE is a plus.
  • Programmatic manipulation of infrastructure components (data model, API), integration frameworks, and technologies.
  • Network/Infrastructure Security technologies (Firewall, access control, intrusion detection, intrusion prevention, administrative access control) and Compliance (PCI, SOx, HIPAA).
Desired Skills
  • BS/BE/BTech degree or equivalent with 8+ years of IT industry experience
  • Certifications: CCIE Preferred, CCNP, Cloud Certifications (AWS, Azure, etc.), SDN
  • Diligent, influential, charismatic leader with a forward-thinking vision that can swiftly garner executive interest in architecting, deploying, and managing the future Enterprise network.
  • Ability to comprehend and articulate the value and business benefits of enterprise solution methodologies and cloud architectures
  • Strong customer-facing sales and architectural capabilities.
  • Core competencies encompass design concepts, IT analysis/analytical thinking, innovation management, enterprise perspective, and process knowledge.
  • Analyzes opportunities with a broad, strategic perspective; integrates business and technology requisites to achieve cross-domain solutions that are enterprise-wide; employs methodologies fitting for multiple users/technology platforms.
  • Client-facing, cross-functional influence, external, and internal consulting/partnerships.
  • Thorough understanding of the industry landscape (competitors and partners)
  • In-depth, innovative thinking, analytical reasoning, and creative issue-solving abilities.
  • Capability to transition from conceptual thinking to practical and pragmatic execution is vital.
  • Sound comprehension of end-to-end IT processes, covering architecture, design & engineering, implementation, and operations;
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills: adept at conveying technology strategy and architectural approaches to engineers, executives, and Cisco clients.
  • Communication proficiencies encompass conflict management, negotiation, presentation/demonstration, and written communication-cultural sensitivity, goal alignment, learning agility, and virtual/remote training.
