Experience requirements:

Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering; preferably computer scienceMinimum 15 years of development experience in BFSI Domain with a proven track record of designing and delivering enterprise scale solutionsMinimum of 8 years of experience in Solution Architect role including Product Architect roleMinimum of 5 years of experience in Origination or Business Unit Solution Architect's roleUnderstanding of various architectures like Monolithic, Service oriented, MicroservicesUnderstanding of BFSI processes, regulations and compliance requirements like BASEL III, GDPR, KYC, AML, CCPA, Sarbanes-Oxley Act, PCI DSS, SEBI Regulations, IRDAI Guidelines, FATCAProficiency in designing and implementing distributed systems, microservices architectures, and cloud-native solutionsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholdersStrong leadership and team-building skills with a demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a team of developers and leadsRoles and Responsibilities:Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them to technical solutions in alignment with company's or customer's strategic goalsArchitect e2e solutions for complex BFSI applications, including core banking, wealth management, insurance, and regulatory solutionsDesign robust, scalable and resilient architectures that meet performance, security and regulatory requirementsLead and mentor a team of developers and engineers, providing technical guidance and oversight throughout the SDLCDefine and enforce coding standards, best practices, and architectural guidelines to ensure consistency and maintainability of the codebaseConduct architectural reviews, code reviews, and performance analysis to identify areas of improvement and optimizationCollaborate with cross-functional teams incuding product management, quality assurance and operations to deliver high quality software solutions within agreed timelines and budgetDetailed project & implementation planning to be followed by team & extended stakeholdersCoordination with all primary & extended stakeholders, understanding the progress & resolution of all practical issues.

Stay updated about emerging technologies, industry trends and regulatory changes in the BFSI sector to assess and incorporate them into architectural design and solutionsEnsure frictionless migration with zero impact on development & production environmentHigh & Low level software/ system designing and implementation of development/ production environmentTroubleshooting design level issues and implementation of solutionsMaintenance of system with legacy technologies and achieving SLA as per changed business objectivesEnsuring all compliance, security, legal requirements are taken care of in existing & proposed solutions.

Implementation of Generative AI solutions in the existing software solution/ SDLC PipelineDetailed project & implementation planning to be followed by team & extended stakeholdersTrack progress of various proposals/ programs across groups and publish periodical report on progress, effectiveness, and advantages.

Participate in creation of RFP responses and any other project presentations and lead the presentations or meetings from technical perspectiveParticipate in P&L creation for any RFP's to provide inputs on resource and non-resource costsParticipate in any internal / external process / compliance audits and lead from technical perspectiveCreate, review and maintain all required documentation from SDLC, process or compliance perspective with the help of development teamHARMAN is proud to be an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action employer.
