Job Description :

Position Overview :

The Senior Data Architect will be responsible for the strategic design, implementation, and management of high-quality, scalable data solutions. This role requires extensive experience in data architecture, data modeling, and data integration, along with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate should be ready to join immediately or within a 15-day notice period.

Key Responsibilities :

Data Architecture Design :

Lead the development and maintenance of data architecture, including data models, data storage, and data integration solutions to support complex business needs.

Data Integration :

Design and implement sophisticated data integration solutions using ETL processes, APIs, and other methods to ensure seamless data flow between diverse systems.

Data Governance :

Establish and enforce robust data governance policies, procedures, and standards to ensure data quality, security, and compliance with industry regulations.

Collaboration :

Collaborate closely with stakeholders, including data scientists, business analysts, and IT teams, to understand and translate data requirements into effective solutions.

Performance Optimization :

Optimize data storage and retrieval processes for maximum performance, scalability, and efficiency.

Technology Evaluation :

Evaluate and recommend cutting-edge data technologies and tools to enhance data architecture and meet evolving business needs.

Mentorship :

Mentor and guide junior data architects and data engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Documentation :

Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of data architecture, processes, and standards to ensure clarity and consistency.

Qualifications :

Education : Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.

Experience :

- 10+ years of proven experience as a Data Architect, Data Engineer, or in a similar senior role.

- Extensive experience with database management systems (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).

- Hands-on experience with advanced data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing.

- Familiarity with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

Skills :

- Proficiency in advanced data modeling tools and techniques.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to lead projects independently and as part of a team.

- Deep knowledge of data governance, data quality, and data security best practices.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Certification in data architecture or related fields.

- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).

- Knowledge of machine learning and AI data requirements.
