EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

As a Cloud Native Developer, you will be joining our Banking Innovation team in Pune.

You have the opportunity to contribute to product development for innovative banking solutions, which we create in a collaborative fashion with our customers. You would be responsible for developing product modules using cloud native DevOps practices. The role includes aspects of technical design, development and maintenance of microservices in Kubernetes environment on cloud. You will be working with geographically distributed teams seamlessly.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Bachelor's Degree/Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or similar, required.
  • Strong communication skills are desirable.
  • Ability to work on innovation initiatives to build new prototypes, PoCs, and software products adapting new technologies and requirements.
  • Excellent analytical capability and presentations skills.

WORK EXPERIENCE

  • 6-10 years of relevant experience in software development in skills listed below.
  • Proven experience of in Java, Spring Boot framework, REST API development, Spring Data, Spring Security, SOAP integration in multiple projects.
  • Experience of developing microservices based applications in cloud-based development using Kubernetes on Azure, AWS, GCP, SAP BTP Kyma or similar.
  • Proficient in containerization technologies such as Docker.
  • Experience of implementing CI-CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
  • Experience of managing GitHub repositories, branches, and access controls. Knowledge of branching strategies and pull request processes.
  • Experience of developing Helm Charts for Kubernetes deployments.
  • Knowledge of UI technologies like ReactJS/ AngularJS would be desirable.
  • Prior experience in Banking domain would be a plus.
  • Relevant certifications in cloud technologies (Azure AKS Certification, AWS Certified Developer etc.) would be added advantage.
  • Ensure excellent quality and maintain high standards in all processes listed in the relevant process map.
  • Experience to work with geographically distributed teams.
